ORPP Proposes Sh964 Million for 2027 Polls, Flags Funding Crisis & Stalled Party Registrations

The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties has submitted a proposed Sh964 million budget for the 2027 General Election, with Registrar John Lorionokou warning that the office has already exhausted its current allocation, stalling registration of 32 new political parties due to insufficient funds for verification.
